Let me take this opportunity to provide you with some background information before I get into this review. I am confined to a wheelchair and have been this way my entire life. In order for me to live a productive and fulfilling life, I need special accommodations in my home for day-to-day living. Through the expertise and professionalism of Vanguard Homes & Interiors, this remodeling project included special accommodations for me in every room of my home. Some of these accommodations included:
In the kitchen, all the countertops were lowered to my level and include pulldown shelving for the overhead cupboards. This is significant because I could never use the overhead cupboard space previously.
I can now get my wheelchair into both bathrooms and reach the sink . There is no longer an obstruction going into the shower and I can now effortlessly access it.
Each clothes closet now has pulled down rods to hang my clothes which has increased my closet space significantly.
This remodeling project also included roof repair, interior paint, carpeting, interior doors, ceiling fans, and lighting. The project was completed in 3 months time.
Vanguard homes and interiors were very good at keeping me informed at every phase of this remodeling project and I paid them after each phase of the project was to my satisfaction and completed. I would encourage anyone who is looking to remodel their home to give Vanguard Home & interiors an opportunity to make your dream home a reality for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.
